A growing services company is seeking a Data Lead to transform and build a data function

which is effectively a greenfield landscape.

The role is a governance one to start with, combining data science and data engineering

experience to ensure a robust system is built from complex data sets.

Once the design is set up you will be the lead to deliver on the data quality, working closely

with your team and provide development and maintenance of the data and BI platform.

You will be managing a team of data analysts, working with external customers to ensure

accurate data quality, plus internal stakeholders to ensure accurate business intelligence

and insights.

We are looking for someone that is willing to jump into the details when needed.

company.

What we are looking for.

Good experience and track record of data engineering principles.

Previous experience setting up and managing a data warehouse, preferably a modern cloud

platform.

Team lead experience

Experience working with large, complex datasets.

An appreciation and understanding of security of sensitive data, with adherence to current

privacy laws.

Experience with business intelligence and data visualisation packages

Record of vendor relationships in the data space and an understanding of licensing costs

and data warehousing with associated ETL tools available in the market.

This is not a remote role, this is in the office 4 or 5 days a week.

Salary commensurate with experience but we are looking to pay between $150,000 and

$180,000 per annum for this role.
