The responsibilities
- Generating comprehensive security risk assessment reports to identify, evaluate, and assess risks, as well as recommend suitable controls for existing internal systems.
- Aiding in the investigation, management, and swift resolution of reported operational security issues, risks, and incidents.
- Enhancing cyber security through vigilant monitoring, analysis, reporting, compliance, and risk management. Crafting and upholding robust policies, standards, and SOPs
- Creating and maintaining documents and processes for effective management of security risks.
- Fostering collaboration between ICT personnel and business teams to identify, evaluate, assess, and effectively manage security risks. Ensuring continuous monitoring, reporting, and compliance oversight
- Deliver security advice, mentoring, and support to internal teams, using industry best practices such as the NZISM.
- Contributing to the planning and development of security policies and standards.
