The Opportunity

We are looking for Intermediate and Senior Software Engineers who have a solid background in NextFlow and Python to join a dynamic team. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a collaborative, agile environment and have a passion for cutting-edge software development in genomics and data science.

What You'll Do

• Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and maintenance.
• Collaborate with a talented team on innovative software solutions for a diverse set of clients.
• Maintain and enhance your expertise in core technologies, working collectively for optimal project delivery.
• Actively support and mentor team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Participate in Agile practices such as daily stand-ups and sprint reviews.

Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in NextFlow and Python.
• Competence in Unix command line/shell script programming.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Desirable:
• Background in human cancer biology or experience with next-generation sequencing data.
• Publications and data science experience (Jupyter/RStudio).
• Knowledge in applied mathematics, Bayesian statistics, machine learning, and bioinformatics.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and modern bioinformatics approaches.
